Reverend George Buannie has been instrumental to the delivery of VSO’s “Husband Schools” in Sierra Leone. These “schools” are training local men to become supportive partners in the home, and have reduced cases of domestic violence by half in the areas they work in.
On 12th March 2020, VSO and Medical Aid Films hosted an event in the UK's Houses of Parliament, inviting activist Reverend George Buannie, an expert on male engagement work from Sierra Leone, to deliver their keynote speech.
